Service Management

Services are recurring gatherings that happen on a regular schedule -- weekly worship, Friday prayers, Shabbat services, and similar events. FaithAdmin treats services differently from one-time events to simplify scheduling and attendance tracking.

Creating a Service

1. Navigate to Services from the sidebar.
2. Click Add Service.
3. Configure the service:
   • Name -- e.g., "Sunday Morning Worship," "Jumu'ah Prayer," "Shabbat Service"
   • Day of Week -- Select which day(s) this service occurs
   • Time -- Start and end time
   • Service Type -- Categorize your services (e.g., worship, prayer, study, youth)
4. Click Save.

Service Types

Service types help you categorize and filter your services. Common types include:

• Worship / Main Service
• Prayer Meeting
• Bible Study / Torah Study / Quran Study
• Youth Service
• Children's Service
• Special Service

The labels adapt based on your Terminology Pack.

Managing Recurring Instances

Each service automatically generates instances on its scheduled day. You can:

• Track attendance for each individual instance
• Add notes to specific weeks
• Cancel or modify a single instance without affecting the recurring schedule

Attendance Integration

Services are the primary unit for Attendance Tracking. Each service instance has its own attendance record, allowing you to track trends over time.

Create separate services for each distinct gathering time (e.g., "9 AM Service" and "11 AM Service") so you can track attendance for each one independently.
