Terminology Packs

Terminology packs customize the labels, vocabulary, and feature names throughout FaithAdmin to match your faith tradition or organizational style. With 40+ customizable terms, the platform feels native to your community.

Available Packs​

Christian​

Optimized for churches of all denominations. Terms include Congregation, Pastor, Tithe, Offering, Sermon, Worship Service, Sunday School, Baptism, and more.

Islamic​

Designed for mosques and Islamic centers. Terms include Ummah, Imam, Sadaqah, Zakat, Khutbah, Jumu'ah, Madrasa, Shahada, and more. Automatically enables Prayer Times and Scripture Memorization.

Jewish​

Built for synagogues and Jewish community organizations. Terms include Kehillah, Rabbi, Tzedakah, D'var Torah, Shabbat, Hebrew School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and more. Automatically enables Hebrew Calendar, Memorials/Yahrzeit, Lifecycle Events, and Service Honors.

Hindu​

For temples and Hindu organizations. Terms include Sangha, Pandit, Daan, Pravachan, Puja, Pathshala, and more.

Buddhist​

For Buddhist temples and meditation centers. Terms include Sangha, Bhikkhu, Dana, Dharma Talk, Meditation Session, Dharma School, and more.

Secular​

For nonprofits and community organizations without religious affiliation. Uses neutral terms like Community, Director, Donation, Presentation, Meeting, Training, and more.

Selecting a Pack​

  1. Navigate to Settings > Features.
  2. Under Organization Type, select your faith tradition.
  3. The terminology pack is applied immediately across the entire platform.

Custom Overrides​

You do not have to accept every default term. Override individual terms:

  1. In Settings > Features, find the terminology section.
  2. Edit any term to replace it with your preferred word.
  3. Your custom term is used everywhere that default term would appear.

For example, a Christian church might change "Pastor" to "Minister" or "Priest" based on their denomination.

What Gets Customized​

Over 40 terms are customized, including:

  • Leadership titles (Pastor, Rabbi, Imam, etc.)
  • Giving terms (Tithe, Tzedakah, Sadaqah, Dana, etc.)
  • Service names (Worship, Shabbat, Jumu'ah, Puja, etc.)
  • Education terms (Sunday School, Hebrew School, Madrasa, etc.)
  • Event types and milestone names
