FaithAdmin supports multi-country tax receipt configuration so your giving statements meet local regulatory requirements.
Configuring Tax Receipts
Navigate to Settings > Tax Receipts to set up your organization's tax receipt information. See Tax Receipt Settings for the full configuration guide.
Key Fields
- Organization Legal Name -- The official registered name of your organization (may differ from your display name)
- Tax ID Label -- What your country calls the tax identifier (e.g., "EIN" in the US, "Charity Number" in Canada, "ABN" in Australia)
- Tax ID Number -- Your organization's tax identification number
- Address -- The registered address of your organization
- Currency -- The currency used on receipts (affects formatting of amounts)
- Deductibility Statement -- The legal text confirming tax-deductible status (e.g., "No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution")
Multi-Country Support
FaithAdmin adapts receipt formatting for different countries:
- United States -- EIN, 501(c)(3) deductibility language
- Canada -- Charity Registration Number, CRA-compliant receipts
- United Kingdom -- Charity Commission number, Gift Aid references
- Australia -- ABN, Deductible Gift Recipient status
- Other countries -- Customize the tax ID label and deductibility statement to match your local requirements
How Receipts Are Used
The tax receipt configuration is applied to:
- Giving Statements -- Year-end donation summaries
- Individual donation receipts (if enabled)
- PDF exports
Best Practices
- Verify your tax ID and legal name with your accountant before configuring.
- Update the deductibility statement if your tax status changes.
- Include your organization's full registered address for compliance.
