Messaging
FaithAdmin lets you communicate with your congregation through email and SMS. Connect your preferred providers and send messages directly from the platform.
Email Providers
FaithAdmin supports four email providers:

SMS Providers

Setting Up a Provider
- Navigate to Settings > Messaging. See Messaging Providers for detailed setup.
- Select your provider.
- Enter your API credentials (API key, secret, etc.).
- Enable the provider.
- Send a test message to verify the configuration.
Sending Messages
To Individuals
- Open a member's profile.
- Click Send Email or Send SMS.
- Compose your message and send.
To Groups
- Navigate to a group.
- Click Message Group.
- Choose email or SMS.
- Compose and send to all group members.
Via Workflows
Messages can be sent automatically through Workflows. Configure a "Send Email" or "Send SMS" step with a template message.
Message Types
- Direct Messages -- One-to-one communication with a member
- Group Messages -- Bulk communication to a group or list
- Automated Messages -- Triggered by workflows (welcome emails, follow-ups, reminders)
Delivery
- Email messages are sent through your configured provider's infrastructure.
- SMS messages are sent via Twilio or SNS.
- Delivery status is tracked when supported by the provider.

Always send a test message after configuring a new provider to confirm credentials are correct and messages are delivered.
