Payment Gateways

FaithAdmin supports eight payment gateways so you can accept online donations regardless of your location or preferred processor.

Supported Gateways​

Stripe Connect​

The recommended gateway for most organizations. Stripe Connect provides a guided onboarding flow:

  1. Go to Settings > Payments.
  2. Click Connect with Stripe.
  3. Complete the Stripe onboarding process (business details, bank account).
  4. Once connected, Stripe is ready to accept donations.

PayPal​

Accept donations via PayPal accounts and credit/debit cards:

  1. Enter your PayPal Client ID and Secret in Settings > Payments.
  2. Toggle PayPal to enabled.

MercadoPago (OAuth)​

Popular in Latin America. Uses OAuth for a seamless connection:

  1. Click Connect with MercadoPago in Settings > Payments.
  2. Authorize FaithAdmin to access your MercadoPago account.
  3. Donations are processed in your local currency.

PayFast​

For South African organizations:

  1. Enter your PayFast Merchant ID, Merchant Key, and Passphrase.
  2. Toggle to enabled.

BOG (Bank of Georgia)​

For Georgian organizations. Enter your BOG credentials and enable.

TBC (TBC Bank)​

Another Georgian banking option. Enter your TBC credentials and enable.

Webmoney​

For organizations accepting Webmoney payments. Enter your Webmoney purse ID and enable.

Bank Transfer​

For manual bank transfers:

  1. Enter your bank account details (bank name, account number, routing number).
  2. These details are displayed to donors who choose bank transfer as their payment method.

Managing Gateways​

  • You can enable multiple gateways simultaneously.
  • Each gateway can be enabled or disabled independently.

Start with Stripe Connect if available in your country -- it has the smoothest setup process and broadest card support.
