Setup Wizard
When you first log into FaithAdmin, a welcome wizard guides you through the essential configuration steps so your organization is ready to use right away.
What the Wizard Covers
The setup wizard walks you through three main steps:
- Organization Name -- Enter the name of your church, mosque, synagogue, temple, or nonprofit. This name appears throughout the platform and on member-facing pages.
- Faith / Organization Type -- Choose a terminology pack (Christian, Islamic, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, or Secular). This automatically customizes labels, features, and vocabulary across FaithAdmin to match your community. See Terminology Packs for details.
- Payment Gateway -- If you are on a paid plan, you can connect a payment gateway (such as Stripe or PayPal) to start accepting donations immediately. You can skip this step and configure it later under Payment Settings.
How to Complete the Wizard
- Each step has a Continue button to proceed to the next screen.
- You can skip optional steps and return to them later through Settings.
- Once all steps are complete, you land on the main dashboard with the Setup Checklist visible.
After the Wizard
The dashboard checklist picks up where the wizard leaves off. It tracks additional tasks like adding members, creating your first event, and configuring messaging providers.

You can change any setting from the wizard at any time in Settings > General. Nothing is locked in permanently.
