Attendance Tracking

Attendance tracking helps you understand who is showing up, identify trends, and follow up with members who may be disengaging.

Attendance Codes

FaithAdmin uses attendance codes to categorize how someone attended:

  • Present -- Physically attended
  • Absent -- Expected but did not attend
  • Online -- Attended via livestream or virtual meeting
  • Late -- Arrived after the start time
  • Excused -- Absent with a valid reason

You can customize attendance codes under Settings to match your organization's needs.

Recording Attendance

Manual Entry

  1. Navigate to Attendance from the sidebar.
  2. Select the service or event.
  3. Select the date.
  4. Check off members who attended, or use the search to find specific people.
  5. Save the attendance record.

Check-In

For in-person events, you can use the Child Check-In or Kiosk Mode to record attendance automatically as people arrive.

Viewing Attendance Records

  • By Service/Event -- See who attended a specific instance.
  • By Person -- View a member's attendance history from their profile.
  • By Date Range -- Filter attendance records across a time period.

Attendance Statistics

FaithAdmin calculates key metrics automatically:

  • Average attendance per service over a time period
  • Attendance trend -- is attendance growing or declining?
  • Individual attendance rate -- how often each member attends
  • Unique members -- how many distinct people attended in a period

See Attendance Reports for detailed analytics.
