Fundraisers

Fundraisers let you create goal-based campaigns to raise money for specific purposes -- building projects, mission trips, community outreach, or any special initiative.

Creating a Fundraiser

  1. Navigate to Fundraisers from the sidebar.
  2. Click Add Fundraiser.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Title -- A clear name for the campaign (e.g., "New Building Fund")
    • Description -- Explain the purpose and how funds will be used
    • Goal Amount -- The target amount you want to raise
    • Start Date and End Date -- The campaign period
  4. Click Save.

Goal Tracking

Each fundraiser displays:

  • Goal Amount -- Your target
  • Amount Raised -- Total donations linked to this fundraiser
  • Progress Bar -- Visual percentage of goal achieved
  • Number of Donors -- How many people have contributed

Progress updates automatically as donations are recorded or received online.

Linking Donations to Fundraisers

When creating a donation, select the fundraiser it applies to. The donation is counted toward both the fundraiser's progress and the donor's giving history.

Managing Fundraisers

From the fundraiser detail page you can:

  • Edit the goal amount, dates, or description
  • View all donations linked to this fundraiser
  • See the donor list and individual contribution amounts
  • Close the fundraiser when the campaign ends

Fundraiser Status

  • Active -- Currently accepting donations
  • Completed -- Goal reached or campaign ended
  • Cancelled -- Campaign cancelled before completion

Set a realistic goal and share progress updates with your congregation regularly. People are more motivated to give when they can see the progress bar moving.
